a blog that started about our adoption from China, but has turned into a blog about the things we love: Jesus, adoption, freedom and each other.

Two Doors
For some reason (perhaps the remnants of an ear infection?), Lily FREAKED OUT when I dropped her off at school on Thursday. I mean, freaked out. It was very unlike her, so I was a little concerned. I didn't get a call from the school so I knew she quickly calmed down, but I was still anxious to see how she was when I picked her up. Not only was she totally fine, but she was bubbling over with excitement to show me something. I got a little nervous when she led me into the bathroom in the corner of their classroom, but thankfully it wasn't someting potty related (for a change). "Mom, there are TWO doors in this bathroom, and guess. where. that one. goes?" Um, I can't even begin to. "MISS BONNIE'S MUSIC CLASS!" Have you ever heard of anything so cool in your life? Neither has Lily. Forget toys this Christmas, I'm going to just show her that there are TWO doors to our house, and the back one goes to the dog's bathroom.
