Adoption Discrimination-- Prayers Needed!

Please head over to read the story of little Kirill, a little boy with Downs who is being denied adoption approval by a judge in his country simply because he has Downs. His mom is my dear friend Lisa's cousin, and they are devastated as you can imagine, but they believe that God can move mountains to bring their son home. Will you please join me in praying for a miracle here?

I have had a love for kids with Downs Syndrome since volunteering with Special Olympics as a kid, and have recently fallen in love with a little girl that I get to take care of in the church nursery who was also adopted from Ukraine as a baby. She is such a joy! Anyway, it makes it hit even closer to home to know what awaits this little boy if when he is able to come home.... and what awaits those who aren't ever placed in a family...

I wonder if God has something up His sleeve here, as Kyle also has a big heart for these special kiddos but I'm not going to say it outloud.

Praying for the Davis'!! And, I love your shout-out to Reese. There are moments that I just look at her and become overwhelmed that I get to be her Mommy. I love your sweet family! I can't wait for Hope to come home!!

As a mom of a bio daughter with Downs, I'm praying that the adoption will still go through! I heard that another little girl, Evan's adoption did go through today with that same judge, so hoping to hear good news soon. And if God has laid something on your heart, I'm sure He "does have something up His sleeve"!

Princess - I still run into a couple of the Special Olymics guys from way back when and they still remember me. I miss those days. Ans, you know what I'll be praying for.

Love you all bunches and bunches...
